What exactly is “My Stuff”?

Hello and thank you for wandering into my little corner of the interwebs, about the only place that contains “My Stuff” that is currently uncluttered. How much clutter and what type of clutter gathers here remains to be seen, so if you’re up to it, please stick around and see what happens.

As this is the first official post, it would seem that this is the best time to get the awkward “getting to know me” phase of the blogging experience out of the way. Or, more importantly, define what “My Stuff” is. I have a Bachelor’s of Architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and was working in the Architecture field before someone decided to pull the economic rug out from under the world. I worked at Cal Poly’s Radio Station, KCPR, as a DJ for almost 16 years and have accumulated quite the stack of cd’s and records. I am an athlete, participating in both bicycle races and recreational soccer games for the past few years.  I have been known to start art and design projects in my spare time and have actually finished a couple of them, although to be fair, the majority of the projects have been started in my head, but that counts right? I have a wonderful wife who somehow puts up with all of my madness listed above and I love her for very much for that (you can meet her here: The Monkey House). And last but not least, we have two cats who make sure that the right amount of fur is left behind once they vacate the spot they were just laying on and a black lab who is living with her grandparents since they have gophers to chase and the apartments where her parents live don’t allow gophers.

Now that that is out of the way, time to let you know what will potentially end up here. Over the course of time, I will be posting about architecture (what I think about it), music (this could get interesting), sports (if there’s a photo of me doing something spectacular), art (I’m building an addition to my private gallery), my family (we’re a little camera shy so be patient) and my pets (because, as all pets are prone to, they do cute things). Simple.

I hope you will find something interesting in what gets posted. Keep in mind, that what appears here is a product of my own mind and should be taken for what it is, my own thoughts. This is my space to say what I want and I may even say something you disagree with. I encourage comments and feedback, both positive and negative, as long as it constructive and not destructive. Remember, I do have feelings.

With that, here begins the journey through “My Stuff”. Thanks again for stopping by.
